Hello, I'm Yuko Wada, founder and owner of HUDSON STUDIO,
an English-speaking nail salon in Azabu-Juban, Tokyo.
Originally from Shizuoka, Japan, I studied beauty in London before moving to New York City, where I spent over a decade working as a professional nail artist.
During my career in New York, I worked with leading fashion publications and global brands, including VOGUE, Harper’s Bazaar, FENDI, L’Oréal Paris, Revlon, and InStyle. I also had the opportunity to provide nail services for international celebrities including Meg Ryan, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kanye West, the Olsen sisters, Maye Musk, and Gemma Chan.
After returning to Japan, I created HUDSON STUDIO to bring the nail culture I experienced in New York to Tokyo.
HUDSON STUDIO combines the clean, sophisticated style of New York with the precision and thoughtful hospitality of Japanese nail care.
Rather than focusing only on nail design, we believe a manicure or pedicure should also be a moment to relax and care for yourself.
Our signature treatments incorporate Japanese-inspired elements such as Hinoki aroma, gentle scrubs, and hot stone massage, alongside professional manicures, pedicures, Japanese gel, Shellac, and traditional nail polish.
We also offer personalized color consultations to help you find shades and styles that complement your skin tone, lifestyle, and personal taste.

Located in Azabu-Juban, Minato-ku, our salon is also conveniently located for guests staying or living around Roppongi, Azabudai, Hiro-o, and central Tokyo.

Do you speak English at HUDSON STUDIO?
Yes. HUDSON STUDIO is an English-speaking nail salon in Azabu-Juban, Tokyo. International residents and visitors are very welcome, and consultations and nail services can be provided in English.
Do you offer regular nail polish as well as gel?
Yes. We offer both traditional nail polish and gel services. Our selection includes premium polish brands such as CHANEL and Dior, as well as Shellac and Japanese gel options.
Can tourists visiting Tokyo book an appointment?
Yes. We regularly welcome international visitors to Tokyo. You can contact and book with us in English.
Do you offer traditional manicures and pedicures?
Yes. In addition to Japanese gel services, we offer traditional manicures and pedicures, including regular nail polish. Our signature spa treatments also include nail and cuticle care, exfoliation, and hot stone massage.
Do you offer Japanese gel manicures?
Yes. We offer Japanese one-color gel manicures as well as a selection of nail art designs. Our approach combines Japanese attention to detail with clean, sophisticated New York-inspired style.
Do you offer men's manicures and pedicures?
Yes. Men are welcome at HUDSON STUDIO. Manicures and pedicures can be enjoyed with or without color, including natural nail and grooming services.
Can children have a manicure?
Yes. We offer our Princess Manicure for children aged 5 and older. Parent-and-child appointments may also be available depending on the schedule.
Can I have a manicure and pedicure during the same visit?
Yes. Manicure and pedicure appointments can be booked together. Simultaneous treatments may be possible depending on staff availability, so please contact us in advance.
Can you remove gel applied at another nail salon?
Yes. We generally offer gel removal for products applied at other salons for an additional fee. The required time may vary depending on the type and condition of the existing product.
Do you offer acrylic or builder gel?
HUDSON STUDIO primarily specializes in natural nail care, traditional polish, Shellac, and Japanese gel rather than acrylic or builder gel systems. If you currently have builder gel or another nail enhancement, please contact us before booking so we can advise you on removal and available services.
